Our independent Roto Rooter franchise has been family owned and operated for three generations. It began in 1970 by Charles Ruff, who moved his family to Lynchburg to start the business. 47 years later, this local, family-owned business is managed by Nat and Troy Kershaw. A strong familial bond serves as the basis for your local Lynchburg Roto-Rooter. Our Staff provides high quality plumbing, drain cleaning, and septic services customers can count on.

I have called Roto-Rooter twice recently.  The first time was for my sump pump making unusual noises.  I was sure it would have to be replaced but he was able to repair it easily. The second time was within the last few days.  I had a drip in the bathtub and a slow leak in one of the toilet tanks.  Two repairmen came and replaced the necessary parts quickly and with minimal disruption.  Both times they came the day I called. I am very satisfied and will call them again if needed. October 2024 On Thursday, the day hurricane Helene was scheduled to come though, my sump pump malfunctioned.  I called Roto-Rooter but was sure they would not be able to come for several days.  However, someone came that morning, fixed the problem, then called me to tell me it was repaired and working properly.  I will definitely call them again if needed.

We had a septic problem on a Sunday.    We called about 5 places and Roto rooter was the only company that called us back on Sunday.   They had good communication and sent someone out first thing Monday morning.   The technicians had to dig in our yard to find the problem.    I can’t even tell where they dug.   They put everything back how they found it.   It was reasonably priced and The guys that came out were professional and friendly.   I am so thankful.   Thank you.   This is a great business.   I highly recommend them.
